The Commission joined the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for the Kenya Leadership and Integrity Forum (KLIF) Campus Edition held at Kirinyaga University, a dynamic youth-focused forum dedicated to strengthening leadership, ethics, and accountability. The engagement forms part of the national build-up activities ahead of International Anti-Corruption Day, celebrated globally on 9th December 2025.
This year’s theme, “Uniting with the Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity,” resonated strongly throughout the discussions. It underscored the importance of positioning young people at the center of Kenya’s long-term strategy to combat corruption and build a culture grounded in transparency.
Students engaged EACC and partner institutions in honest, thought-provoking conversations on corruption’s impact and the responsibility each individual carries in shaping an accountable society. The University leadership reiterated their commitment to nurturing ethical consciousness among students, including establishing student-led Integrity Clubs to support ongoing advocacy work.
At the Commission, participation in the forum reflects its commitment to a creative sector anchored in fairness, equitable opportunity, and responsible storytelling. Integrity remains a key driver of innovation, and a film industry grounded in ethics is essential for a vibrant and globally competitive creative economy.
By partnering with EACC and standing with the youth, KFC continues to invest in young filmmakers who, through their craft, can challenge corruption, influence positive social norms, and inspire a culture of accountability both on and off the screen.
Together, we are building a future where creativity and integrity walk hand in hand, shaping a Kenya that values honesty and champions ethical leadership.
