The Commission participated in the 2026 Mashujaa Day Thematic Week Exhibition at The Eldoret National Polytechnic in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, alongside government ministries, agencies, private sector players and other stakeholders. Held under the theme “Security, Sports and the Economy,” the exhibition provided a platform for institutions to showcase their services, engage citizens and highlight their contributions to Kenya’s development.

KFC showcased initiatives in filmmaker empowerment, talent development, film registration and accreditation, production and liaison services, film hubs, and the promotion of Kenya as a premier filming destination.

The Commission also engaged creatives, aspiring filmmakers and industry stakeholders on available services and opportunities, highlighting the film industry’s contribution to cultural preservation, employment, investment and economic growth.

As the country celebrated its heroes and their contribution to nation-building, KFC highlighted the role of film in preserving Kenya’s heritage, showcasing local talent and advancing the creative economy. Through its participation, the Commission strengthened awareness of available industry support and reinforced its commitment to connecting creatives with opportunities across Kenya’s growing film industry.
