Audrey Cheruto is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public and a Certified Secretary with a vast knowledge for over 15 years of professional experience in the practice of corporate and commercial law, contract management, intellectual property, dispute and litigation management, compliance and governance.

As the Corporation Secretary and Director Legal Services at the Commission, her responsibility is; to ensure that the Commission stays in compliance with the statutory and compliance requirements; ensure that the Board of Directors operates within the ambit of the Law.

Before joining the Commission, Audrey previously worked at Kenya Literature Bureau. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Management (Strategic Management) from Kenyatta University, Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Moi University, and Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.

She is a Certified Secretary (CS-K), a member of the Trustee Development Program Kenya by College of Insurance, Membership Law Society of Kenya (LSK), East Africa Law Society (EALS) and Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya (ICS).
