Climate Change: Lights, Camera, Planet – Films that Shape our Climate Agenda

Climate change is not a distant threat; it’s a reality unfolding before our eyes, impacting lives, communities, and ecosystems. It transcends geographical boundaries and affects every aspect of our existence. It’s no longer just an environmental issue; it’s a social, economic, and humanitarian crisis that demands our immediate attention and action.

Through the lens of filmmaking, we have a unique opportunity to catalyze change, to raise awareness, and to mobilize communities. Films have the power to evoke emotions, to tell stories that resonate deeply, and to inspire collective action. By harnessing the creativity and passion of filmmakers through this mobile phone film competition, we can amplify voices, spark dialogue, and shape the narrative around climate change.

This year’s theme “Climate Change: Lights, Camera, Planet – Films that Shape our Climate Agenda” encapsulates the essence of our mission. It’s a call to action for storytellers to wield their cameras as instruments of change, to illuminate the pressing issues of our time, and to advocate for a sustainable future for generations to come.

Your participation in this competition is not just about showcasing your talent; it’s about making a difference. It’s about leveraging your skills and creativity to contribute to a global movement for climate action. Whether you choose to document the impacts of climate change, to spotlight innovative solutions, or to envision a future of resilience and sustainability, your film has the power to shape our collective climate agenda.
