Kenya Film Commission Launches School Outreach Program In Upper Hill School

The rollout for the School Outreach Program continues. On Wednesday 26th the commission launched the school outreach program at Upper hill School. This project aims at creating a connection between the Commission and the various secondary schools around the country through formation of film clubs that will groom future filmmakers. The launch at Upper hill School comes two weeks after the same program was launched at Alliance Girls Secondary School on 13th February.

Student programming forms an important strategic goal for the Commission as this will ensure the young creatives are empowered to harness the power of film at a young age. Long term the school outreach program will enhance a supportive learning environment to foster creativity and self-discovery through the art of filmmaking.
