It was a winning night for Kenya Film Commission at the Women Corporate Directors (WCD) 2019 Visionary Awards dinner held in Nairobi. The Commission bagged Visionary Awards for Leadership and Governance of a Public Service Organization & Visionary Award for Minority Inclusion.

The event was graced by Hon Lady Justice Njoki Ndungu – Judge of the Supreme Court of Kenya, Ms Roselida – Executive Director, WCD Kenya among other key personalities.

Worldwide organizations are now faced with the ever increasing need to have a gender balanced institution. It is no longer a matter of mere representation of one gender but having a seat at the table where strategic decisions are made. As Kenya Film Commission, we are cognizant of the need to have women in strategic leadership positions of our organization.
