Kenya Civil Aviation Authority has planned a consultative stakeholder’s forum on the proposed Civil Aviation (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Regulations popularly known as Drones.In a public notice, KCAA urges members of the public and its stakeholders to submit written comments, memorandum and feedback on the proposed regulation before 17th May 2019.
The consultative forum will be held at Sarova Panafric Hotel on 21st May 2019 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Interested participants are required to pre-register for the event and send their registration forms to rpas@kcaa.or.ke
Kenyan creatives can now submit their works for competition in the ongoing MASK Prize competition. The items that can be entered for competition include: paintings, drawings, photographs, animation, poetry, sculptures among many other items.
Participants will be competing in three categories namely:
- Schools
- Under 15 years old
- Under 25 years old
Submission is open to any number entries from any single participants.
Prizes worth KES 300,000 will be awarded at a gala ceremony on 17th October 2019 at Michael Joseph Center. Deadline for online application is 1st June 2019.
