From 9th to 19th October, the 2018 edition of the Cape Town International Film Market and Festival will be taking place at various venues of the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront in Cape Town.
The festival, guided by the vision of transforming the African film industry through creation, transformation, collaboration and celebration, will be hosting key initiatives and projects targeting Pan African film industries together with emerging and new audiences from within Africa and the rest of the world.
Festivals screenings which opened on 10th October will be open to the public up to 19th October 2018 at various cinemas within the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront in Cape Town. Also during the festival, there will be a market which is focused on constructive engagements which aims at promoting creation of quality content.
The festival will conclude by recognizing and awarding the best creative works in 14 categories at the gala awards dinner on 19th October 2018.
